Giving your horse treats is a great way to show them your affection in a way that  you know that they will love, it's a great way to spend time with them and spoil them. Treats also make great "thank you" gifts for you horse or pony like after a ride or tack up as well as rewarding them for their work or patience, I mean they have to deal with us heavy taskmasters! Horse treats are also great for training your horse exercises and tricks and they can then begin to associate training with something very positive... FOOD! 

 Horse treats and reward and release training incorporated together can produce wonderful results in your horse's life and yours.  I have seen  many wonderful results from using treats to train horses that  I have worked with.
